Luke was Born in New York February 18th 1983. During a Snow Storm, Hence Why He loves Cold Weather. He grew up Playing the Nes & His First Game was The Legend of Zelda. During the 16 Bit Craze, Luke feel in Love with Street Fighter 2 & other Fighting Games.
In Highschool He migrated to RPGS on Playstation 2 and PC Games like War Craft 2, Half Life, Final Fantasy 8 etc. College ushered in the Gamecube Era and Amazing Games like Rogue Squadron 2, Luigi’s Mansion, Super Smash Bros Melee & Tales of Symphonia to name a Few.
After Marrying His College Sweet Heart Amber, Luke become a Game Journalist working for various Publications from 2004 to 2014. Taking His Love for Games to the Next Level. In 2007 Amber helped Luke launch the kNIGHTWING01 Channel releasing Retro Game Reviews based after beloved Games from His ChildHood.
In 2010 Luke & Amber started doing Let’s Plays on Youtube. Thier First Game was Batman Brave & The Bold Wii. After creating an Audience of 25,000 they opened Kwingsletsplays in 2012.
His Hobbies include Batman Comics, Anime, 80s Cartoon Collecting & Watching K-Dramas. Luke is a retired Drummer of 15 Years & was in 3 Video Game Cover Bands. The Last was with Chris Holland of Philly PA.
Amber Kwing C0-Host & Graphic Artist
Amber Kwing was Born in Highland Park IL 1984. Unlike Her Husband, She was a Private Gamer. Even Luke didn’t Know Amber liked Video Games until after they got Engaged in 2004. As a Little Girl She loved Sonic the Hedgehog & Kirby. So She was a Genesis Gal.
Amber’s Passion is Music and She holds various degrees in Music & Graphic Arts. Amber is the One Responsible for Encouraging Luke, to create Game reviews on Youtube in 2007. Later the Couple started doing Let’s Plays together and eventually creating thier own Channel KwingsLetsPlays in 2012.
Kwing LP was the Polar opposite of kNIGHTWING01 which focused on the Batman Arkham Games from 2011 to 2015. Amber wanted the Lp channel to be mainly E to T Rated Games. Though in the early Days, She was very Picky on What titles would be showcased on the Channel. Do to Her Passion for Fun E Rated Games, the Kwings went Viral playing E Rated Games like Lego Batman 2, Skylanders, Disney Infinity & Nintendo Games.
This Gave birth to Partnerships with Activison, Nintendo, Capcom, LEGO, Gameloft and Disney to name a few. Amber’s laid back approach to Game Commentary and Her joyful attitude made The Kwings standout in ways few channels could during Youtube’s Early Years. Amber still loves playing Fun Cute Games, but the COPPA law of 2019 makes it very difficult to cover the Genres She Loves.
Amber has more Dreams then just hitting One Million Subscribers. She wants to start a Soap Business in IL, take care of Her Parents, return to School & finish Her Music Degree and find Evidence of Champs existence! In 10 Years She would love to move to Japan and explore Amazon.
